Co-Curricular Activities

Co-Curricular Activities at Pt. Uma Dutt Public School form an essential pillar of holistic education, offering students structured opportunities to discover their passions, refine talents, and develop confidence beyond academics. Our Arts & Craft programme nurtures creativity and visual literacy through drawing, painting, sculpture, pottery, collage, origami, and mixed media. Students are encouraged to experiment with colours, textures, and techniques while developing fine motor skills, patience, and artistic confidence. Regular exhibitions and themed art projects allow students to showcase their work.

Students receive training in vocal music (classical and contemporary) as well as instruments such as harmonium, tabla, sitar, flute, keyboard, guitar, violin, drums, and more. The programme builds musical theory, rhythm, coordination, and performance skills, with opportunities to participate in ensembles, competitions, and stage performances.

Through inter-school and national-level conferences, students develop leadership, critical thinking, and collaborative problem-solving abilities.
