Clubs & Societies

The Clubs & Societies at Pt. Uma Dutt Public School provide students with enriching platforms to explore intellectual interests, apply classroom learning to real-world contexts, and develop leadership, collaboration, and critical-thinking skills. These clubs encourage curiosity, creativity, and confident expression while fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation.

Quiz Club (General Knowledge – Oral & Written)

The Quiz Club nurtures awareness, curiosity, and quick thinking through structured oral and written quizzes. Students explore current affairs, history, science, culture, sports, and global issues, sharpening memory, recall, and analytical skills. Regular inter-house and inter-school quiz competitions build confidence and a spirit of healthy competition.

Economics & Business Club

This club introduces students to the fundamentals of economics, entrepreneurship, finance, and business strategy. Through case studies, discussions, simulations, and project-based learning, students gain insights into markets, trade, budgeting, and economic decision-making—preparing them for future academic and professional pursuits.

Historical Society

The Historical Society brings history to life through research, debates, presentations, exhibitions, heritage studies, and timeline projects. Students explore civilizations, national movements, global events, and cultural heritage, developing critical perspectives, research skills, and a deep appreciation of the past’s influence on the present.

Poetry Club

The Poetry Club encourages creative expression, emotional intelligence, and literary appreciation. Students engage in reading, writing, recitation, and performance of poetry across languages and styles, refining language skills and developing a strong personal voice. Creative showcases and literary events provide platforms for expression.

Maths & Science Club

Designed to ignite curiosity and innovation, the Maths & Science Club promotes logical reasoning, experimentation, and problem-solving. Activities include hands-on experiments, puzzles, models, STEM projects, math challenges, and science fairs, fostering inquiry-based learning and scientific temper.

IT Club

The IT Club equips students with essential digital skills and technological literacy. Through coding basics, digital creativity, presentations, research tools, and emerging technologies, students learn responsible and innovative use of technology—preparing them for a digitally driven future.
